DVM / Medical Director
Dr. Nichole Crainick grew up in Staunton, IL, a small town outside of St. Louis, MO. She earned a degree in biology with specialization in medical science at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
Dr. Crainick graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine Champaign-Urbana with special honors. Her veterinary interests include canine geriatrics, ultrasound/GI medicine, preventive care and rehabilitation/sports medicine. She is currently a student in the Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner program.
She joined Lake Emma Animal Hospital in August 2014 and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Institute.
She enjoys hiking, kayaking, snorkeling & scuba diving in her spare time. She has an Australian Shepherd named Lily (pictured here), and two cats, Sterling and Troy.
